Your pet’s results will then be automatically uploaded into your pets electronic file, reviewed by the doctor, and you will be notified with the findings.

There are numerous reasons why your pet’s veterinarian might feel that lab work is warranted. Blood testing is vital in both diagnosing medical conditions and preventing such conditions from advancing. Annual testing for heartworm and intestinal parasites ensure that you treat any potential infections at the first on-set, rather than when they have advanced to the point of further complications.
Pre-surgical blood work is done when a pet is admitted for anesthetic procedures and is done by our in-house laboratory. Our caring surgical staff will obtain a sample before your pet is anesthetized and the surgeon will review the results before your pet’s procedure is done, to ensure that your pet is at the optimum level of safety while under sedation. Senior wellness blood screenings and a wide variety of diagnostic panels are also offered. These panels allow us to check such crucial aspects as a pet’s thyroid level, kidney and liver values, and blood count.
