Dr. Timothy Courtney joined DPC Veterinary Hospital in December 2023.
He was born in Texas but has lived in Florida most of his life. His mother was a dog groomer, so he grew up working with dogs and cats. He received a bachelor's degree in marine science and biology from the university of Tampa. After working for 2 years as a vet assistant he attended to Ross university to get his DM and went to Louisiana State University for his clinical year. He has since worked with a few different hospitals learning what he can in these different environments before coming to us.
His veterinary interests include internal medicine and preventative care.
His hobbies outside of work include being out in the water, traveling, performing arts, and various types of gaming. Currently he does not have any pets.
